Judge Orders Hearing on Allegations in Immigration Lawsuit

The federal judge that blocked Obama’s executive action on immigration has ordered the Justice Department to answer allegations the government misled him about part of the plan. U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen has ordered federal government lawyers to appear in his court March 19 in Brownsville, Texas. The hearing is in response to a filing last week in which the government acknowledged some deportation reprieves were granted before Hanen’s Feb. 16 injunction.

Obama says immigrants should be ‘gathering up their papers’ in town hall appearance

How can they have any papers proving anything being “illegal” unless those papers are forged.  They are “criminals”. Obama said illegal immigrants who would be eligible for protection from deportation under his recent, disputed executive orders should plan for them to be upheld in court.
