The FBI  is investigating a possible Islamic State-inspired terrorism plot in the United States, CNN reported on Saturday, quoting law enforcement officials. An unknown federal official said there was a known threat to Los Angeles International Airport, but did not say whether this was a new threat or was associated with Islamic State.

TSA Ends Contract With Body Scan Manufacturer

The Trasnportation Security Administration has cancelled its contract with a company that supplies some of the more controversial full-body scan machines used at US airports.  The LA Times says the termination of the contract with Rapiscan, the maker of nearly half of the full-body scanners used by the TSA to screen passengers for weapons and other banned items.
