House Benghazi committee subpoenas ex-Clinton White House aide Blumenthal

The House select committee investigating the deadly 2012 Benghazi attack issued a subpoena Tuesday to former Clinton White House aide Sidney Blumenthal. Committee spokesman Jamal Ware confirmed to Fox News that Blumenthal had been called to give a deposition before the committee.

Boehner reappoints Gowdy as head of House Select Committee on Benghazi

On Monday House Speaker John Boehner announced that he is reappointing Rep. Trey Gowdy as chairman of the House Select Committee probing the Benghazi attack. Boehner said in a statement that there are still many unanswered questions about the Sept. 11, 2012 attack in Libya. U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans died in the attack.

Issa: White House warned YouTube over anti-Islam video during Benghazi attack

Rep. Darrell Issa claimed that an email he’s reviewed shows the White House decided to reach out to YouTube within hours of the Benghazi terror attack, to warn the website about the consequences of posting an anti-Islam video. This proves that the White House planned to use the video almost from the outset — though their initial claim that the attack sprung out of protests over the film would later be proven false.

GOP says the latest Libya intel disclosures ‘orchestrated defense’ of administration

Everyday the story changes from the Administration as to what really happened when terrorists attacked our embassy in Libya. This has created a lot of criticism, coming from Republicans. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers said over the weekend that recent disclosures by intelligence officials that once again revise the narrative on what happened during the deadly attack last month in Libya suggest an “orchestrated defense of the administration.”
