Friday a federal judge ordered Hillary Clinton to answer questions from a conservative watchdog group about her use of a private email server when she served as secretary of state.
A source confirmed Sunday that some of the FBI files on the agency’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server system while secretary of state could be given to a House oversight committee as early as this week. Friday Clinton tried to “clarify” her widely disputed claim that the FBI director had declared her statements on her email scandal “truthful” – but may have ended up adding to the confusion, delivering a lengthy and at-times conflicting explanation that the Donald Trump campaign later called “pretzel-like.”
The Obama administration is reportedly forging ahead with a “dangerously flawed” plan to expedite the vetting of an expected 10,000 Syrian refugees this year, paring down the usual 18-24 month process to just three months.

Comey said authorities suspect that some of the more than 10 people arrested during that time were planning to commit violence tied to the holiday. But he declined during a wide-ranging discussion with reporters to describe any of the potential plots that might have been thwarted or to identify specific individuals the FBI thought might carry out an attack.
