Warren released the results of a DNA test last week that “strongly support” her claims of Native American ancestry, revealing it dates back six to 10 generations, making her between 1/64th and 1/1024th Native American, the Boston Globe reported.
Trump repeatedly challenged Warren to take a DNA test by questioning her heritage, calling her “Pocahontas” and promising to donate $1 million to a charity of her choice if she did have Native American blood.
However, after Warren took the test, Trump dismissed the results, saying he would only pay what he pledged if he administered the test.
Republican state Rep. Geoff Diehl, who is running against Warren for her Senate seat in the upcoming election, said in Sunday’s debate that Warren has unfairly tried to cast herself as a Native American to further her career, according to the Washington Examiner.
In any case, Diehl argued that Warren doesn’t want to be a Massachusetts senator anymore and is only looking ahead to run for president.
