Poor liberals. They have to be in control of everything, or they raise hell. An argument by the founder of liberal Media Matters to boot Fox News’ Chris Wallace as presidential debate moderator was rejected in a terse 16-word rebuke from the commission overseeing the face-offs.
David Brock wrote the Commission on Presidential Debates a letter, posted by Politico on Friday, that it was “a glaring conflict of interest” for Wallace to moderate the Oct. 19 debate since former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes ia advising Donald Trump “while serving as a paid adviser to Fox News chief Rupert Murdoch,” who is Wallace’s boss.
The commission fired back:
“We are pleased with our selection of moderators and confident they will do a good job,”commission co-chairs Frank Fahrenkopf and Michael McCurry fired back, The Washington Post and Politico reported.
The third debate will be held October 19 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
