Judicial Watch: ‘Fast and Furious’ Gun Used in Paris Terror Attack

One of the guns used in the Paris terror attack last November is linked to the “Fast and Furious” gun walking scandal. Conservative group Judicial Watch cites an ATF report that claims a weapon used by one of the terrorists during the attack that resulted in 130 deaths was sold by a Phoenix gun dealer as part of the ATF program.

The “Fast and Furious” scandal involved gun dealers illegally selling weapons to people who were not qualified to purchase them in order for the ATF to track them to Mexican drug cartels.

Judicial Watch reports the weapon used in Paris was a fully-automatic one. Further, the Arizona dealer who sold the gun has violated federal firearms laws at least twice. No charges, however, were brought against the dealer.

“Agents were told, in the process of taking the fully auto, not to anger the seller to prevent him from going public,” a law enforcement officials told Judicial Watch.

ATF spokesman Corey Ray denied the connection between “Fast and Furious” and Paris, telling Judicial Watch he was “not familiar with the report you’re referencing.”
