GOP presidential primary dropout Carly Fiorina says she’d “never-say-never” to a vice presidential slot on the party’s White House ticket. The former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, who is now supporting Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, said she’s “flattered” by the vice presidential talk, including by the Washington Post.
“I am flattered by it, but I think one of the problems with this election is that we’re always jumping ahead,” Fiorina said, The Hill reports. “No one would have predicted where we are right now, and I don’t think anyone can predict where this is going.”
“I learned in life to never say never about all kinds of things,” she added, The Hill reports. “I didn’t think I’d run for president either, but I did.”
The idea got the nod earlier this week from Marjorie Dannenfelser of the Susan B. Anthony List, a pro-life group supporting anti-abortion policies and candidates, who wrote for the Blaze about Fiorina: “She’s the historic choice, the unifying choice, the smart choice, the only choice” for vice president. http://www.theblaze.com/contributions/carly-fiorina-is-the-only-choice-for-vice-president/
