Democrats in the Senate agreed by a voice vote on Monday to begin debate on a bipartisan bill to renew expired jobless benefits for 2.2 million Americans. The action cleared a second Republican procedural roadblock in as many weeks and moved the bill toward anticipated Senate passage later this week.
Another one speaks the truth about Obamacare. Writer Ann Coulter says she’s been “thrown off” her health insurance thanks to Obamacare, and since Democrats have made her old plan “illegal” and she’s not able to get a tax waiver to pay for her coverage.
So he’s hellbent on bringing down Putin yet he does this. The U.S. government is giving Russia free military equipment—also used to train American troops—even after President Obama announced punitive sanctions against Moscow and, more importantly, a suspension in military engagement over the invasion and occupation of Ukraine.
Vice President Joe Biden is warning Democratic donors that their money is needed to avoid ending up with a Senate full of Ted Cruz-like tea party Republicans. “If we wake up on Tuesday and find out we came up short, we’re in bad shape for November – that is not hyperbole,” Biden writes. “Losing will mean more senators like Ted Cruz, and more Tea Party Republicans in the House.”
Wait for it folks, the war on women is one again on the front page. The White House is now claiming that a raise in the minimum wage would help women, but would it? Reid is another fool, as it’s Obummer’s policies that helped Putin. Sen Harry Reid is once again blaming Republicans for another of Obummer’s botched plans. Reid said that Republicans may have helped Russia annex Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula in a surprisingly sharp attack ahead of a test vote on a bill authorizing more U.S. sanctions on Russia and $1 billion in loan guarantees to Ukraine.
A review commissioned by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie into a traffic scandal apparently orchestrated by former staffers in his administration found the popular Republican and possible presidential contender had nothing to do with the scheme. For 2 months, and 70 interviews, and more than $1 million in legal fees paid by New Jersey taxpayers, the internal review is complete and has found no evidence Christie was involved with planning or directing the lane closures which snarled traffic in the borough of Fort Lee, New Jersey, the New York Times said.
